Pivot Cycles has built mountain bikes in-house since 2007, engineering everything from initial concept through final testing before a bike goes into production. Each model starts with an engineering team setting goals for geometry, travel, and ride feel, then moves into building aluminum and carbon prototypes in-house, working through tooling, machining, and lay-up design, before testing prototypes on the trails of Pivot’s South Mountain backyard. Every bike is designed by people who ride the bikes they build.
